Blue Hues spill into

A river that has been and

Will be pass all in time

I run because I am
I run because it is there
A healing ritual

The Dance

My feet clips into the cement

Drumming the rise of the sun

As the river’s fog dances with the tide.

Tanka

Rain has come down now

Sun has hidden it’s red glare

I sit rain drenched wet

And still feel the world’s despair

Meditating 🧘‍♀️ hope must rise .

Sunrise

A flight from dark night

A runner starts up across hope

Finishes anew …

Morning

I woke

A morning pulls me to go out of doors

And stand among the cosmos

To allow the lights to christen

Into promise, will I be witness?

God is listening,

The universe displays his breath.

Shhh, it says,

Pray.

Angels in My Garden

Angels hide in my garden

Saying a prayer for me

They are not there for the onlooker

They are only there to be

A comfort for the tender

A reminder of the quiet prayers

So when we forget to spend the time

A sweet symbol of moments shared.

Haiku

I run before sun

No one but sky and water .

Social distancing

Haiku

Out here where woodpeckers

Vibrate in the distant trees

Song birds my symphony
