Moon

Morning

A silver moon

An early icy run 🏃‍♀️

Temperatures drop

A day begun

Crescent Moon

I wake to see a

Crescent Moon hanging just above

I look in awe as I have done so often

Stillness as quiet as the sky is black

Yet the lovely light shines on .

A winter Moon

Upon the crest

Shines a light

The season’s best

Of cold and ice

Is set to be

Expectancy

of winter’s eve .

Rain is a promise

Cleansing is the hope, may it

Be to create seed

Shaded Moon

I plant flowers,
Lavender, under
A pink moon.
I see babies,
Crying lifeless,
Under faded moon.
The water sprinkles
Into the fertile
Soil of promise.
While red rivers
Run just below
The still cradles.
A paradox lives,
I see the lavender,
They bury innocence.

Hunter’s Moon

I stepped outside the squeaky door

the shower from the full moon explore

As I did I climbed on the wind

Hung on the star light and start to spin

The whirling of the dusty fog

Rose above my head and tug

When light and moon and rays delight

Brought a new and mystical light

To all the planets and stars burst out

The moon and wind poured like a spout

Of dust and sparklers and moon rays

I wanted to ride throughout their stay

But no, the wind died down too soon

And I was left back looking at the moon

Silver Sea

Silver lights surround fallen beams cast from summer’s full moon.
Sea is quiet and spreads like a lover in waiting for the ones-to-notice, to linger.
Linger we do, in the dust showered in the reflections of the midnight visit.
Women of generations, sit upon sands that are older than time itself,
Gathering thoughts of times to come, and times that passed as wisdom lingers.
Lingering in moments of contemplation, waiting to be heard.
