hope

Make every day count

Break through gravity holding back

Each tomorrow shines

A flight from dark night

A runner starts up across hope

Finishes anew …

I woke

A morning pulls me to go out of doors

And stand among the cosmos

To allow the lights to christen

Into promise, will I be witness?

God is listening,

The universe displays his breath.

Shhh, it says,

Pray.

A day without strife he looks

to clouds in the sky

Early grass sparkles

While running, solitude pace

A magical start.
