Reflections
Life settles to an understanding which keeps defining and redefining understanding. I just keep asking God to hold on to me. I want to be here for the family but sometimes I become exhausted. Let us continue to pray and hold on to the reigns. It is not just our lives, but the lives affected by the rumblings of our nation and our world.
I figured out why happy does not feel the same as it used to. How can it? Our consciousness is being reminded every minute; all is not right with the world. So instead of laughing loudly when we can laugh, or crying when we think we should. It is manifested by our very existent in a world of ‘sorrow’ around the world.

What’s the most delicious thing you’ve ever eaten?
Peeling them one leaf at a time
And dipping them in a white sauce,
A moment treasure.
A moment measured .

If humans had taglines, what would yours be?
She is no longer, “ less than.”
The universe saw her as otherwise .
Love
Cool morning tide gently caresses my feet,
into the morning sunrise of gray and wet sea breeze.
It is the rhythm of the tide and the sound water splashing
into the sand just ahead.
It is the seagulls dipping into their beginnings.
Off in the distance is a lone surfer with aspirations
of riding back on a wave calm enough to be doable.
The grays blend into my feelings deep into myself,
and I pause, all the before comes at once and I borrow wisdom
from the universe.

Ice
Have you ever broken a bone?
Yes, Fifth Metatarsal. I stepped off a curb on ice and pent my foot against the curb. I walked on to class until I got home . I found out 5 days later it was broken. Be careful runners you have a high tolerance for pain . 😟
End of the Day
How do you unwind after a demanding day?
Music , read , meditate , pray, speak with an old friend or just be quiet .

Yesterday I spent a rainy day
With a cherished granddaughter .
We shared a cup
Of hot chocolate
It is the 4th generation of tradition
I pause in wonder …
Too many are denied .
I pray in thanksgiving .
