autumn breeze

rocking chair keeping pace

The sky has turned gray

the quietness of the day

calls the season’s race

I listen to know

It will soon start to snow

Winter will take its place.

Heralds in sync

Autumn will be gone

leaves fall riding softly on

A breath of nature.

the stars and planets

Still hang just above

To welcome us

In autumn mornings

Fall growing up,

we mostly looked down;

leaves shuffling around.

The colors of our coat

matched the colors blowing

as the wind chilled before snowing.

Somehow the wrapping circles of

the wind would play under our feet.

Captivated for a while it was an autumn treat .

An early icy run 🏃‍♀️

Temperatures drop

A day begun

A pumpkin with lights

For all souls night ,

soon the face will appear .

As the hallow sight

Draws near,

And only one light

Will be the moon

When it appears .
